“Vokes has really taken the steamy bedroom pop world by storm. We posted the 1st single from his debut EP Fractalism back in May. With dreambient sounds mixed with smooth as cloud vocals, his style breathes refreshingly wild and free when you listen, mostly through the help of organic elements, like the wailing solo’s and drum fills, it often adds a sense of urgency for an otherwise mostly electronic sound palate. “Cruel Game” is one of the many stand out tracks on Fractalism however, it often fuses contemporary r&b singing with elements of indie pop, with trip hop electronica sensibilities, even at times evoking a sense of balladry.
