Slyght Pepper – Pum Make Yuh Ack Right
There are few places on earth to capture the spirit of joy than the Trini culture. Singer/producer Lil Yankee (aka Slyght Pepper) creates a bevy of soca laden songs inspired by his culture during his visit and during the annual Carnival in Trinidad. The first single is a unique blend of hip hop with a caribbean flare. While Carnival is a huge draw, Yankee had an underlying purpose in his visit that differed from most yankees visiting from the States. He wanted to meet and commune with family he had only shared Whatsapp messages with in the past. Look out for his debut ep Carnival 2017 coming this fall.
