Nahsym Kalif is an MC I’m super stoked about, he’s a master lyricist and producer, that happens to be a Law Student from Brooklyn NY. There’s a Coltrane meets Blackstar vibe that’s hypnotically streetwise and authentic in intention to delivery. If this is what hip hop sounds like in Brooklyn right now, I’m all about it! It’s reminiscent of early 2000’s NYC but a tad more delving into the jazzier/spoken word side of things making a mesh of sounds all in Nahsym’s aesthetic.
