While “On to the Next” as described by Katmaz is, “…about the difficulty of dating during this current age of swiping. There is always something better so it’s on to the next. The lyrics explore the importance of moving on, as well as the desire of eventually settling down.” The arrangement follows this sentiment, the song itself folds in on itself like a ink blot churning out a brass section that harkens that old Abbey Road peace love spirit that lives on my heart. The drumming on the track is superb playing a drum n bass style beat except if it took a dose of diazepam.
