Kidä – Snakes
Kidä’s on this mystical sounding wizardry tip. After three listens, I sill had no clue where some of those sounds were coming from, likely because they’re coming from her imagination! With tiny Kimbra-esque helter skelter vocal runs, it’s the tribal dhol sounding break down that really adds her own signature to an already unique approach to pop music. With her latest single “Snakes,” I find myself drawn to Kidä’s aesthetic: from the shape of the sounds to the heart of her craft.
