Grapell – Some Places
This is some beautiful Stockholm soul by way of Grapell, a project by Emil Erstrand and Nils Nygårdh. It features clean-tones from top to bottom: from the glint of the church organ pads to the body of M/F vocals swelling up all throughout, while the saxophone delivers the rawness on an otherwise smooth soul song ripe with a mature Alt sound of their own.
