“Occasionally when we cover or do exclusive work for artists, it’s hard not to share on our channels when a particular song / shoot resonates with us. Here is something we did for Brooklyn’s Madam West’s Tiny Desk Submission for this years popular NPR series. The song is simply titled “L,” perhaps, after the mythical and elusive L train we North Brooklynites have occasionally seen and will soon never see again. Sophie Chernin is a great friend of mine and helped launch Meltfest2016, a joint day long festival created by her, myself, and Jhaye James of Indie Bushwick with sponsors DoNYC and Soundfly and you should check out Madam West’s site for their concert schedule because they are an incredible live band and do so before the aforementioned Meltfest. Meltfest is for you if you want a grassroots festival created by hardworking locals with all local working class acts, taking place March 20th’s at Baby’s All Right and ending at C’mon Everybody.”
