Full Moon Music Festival is coming to Governors Island at the celestial position of 2016’s August’s blue moon, and we’ll be there as part of the press team to cover the second night of the two-day event that will feature music by Santigold, Pusha T, Lolawolf and many more. There will be many local foodie havens participating to satisfy your munchie needs, the festival also features lower priced day passes than many of the earlier summer festivals to roll through NYC a major plus for music fans on a budget. Note: GOVERNORS ISLAND IS LOCATED IN NEW YORK HARBOR, 1/2 MILE FROM THE SOUTHERN TIP OF LOWER MANHATTAN. FULL MOON FEST WILL ONLY BE ACCESSIBLE VIA FERRY. FERRIES LEAVE EVERY 30 MINUTES FROM THE BATTERY MARITIME BUILDING IN LOWER MANHATTAN. RIDES ARE FREE IF YOU’RE A FULL MOON TICKET HOLDER!
