It’s amazing what Dev Hynes (of Blood Orange) conjures up in his mind, from tonal personalities, to composition, and emotion; he’s got his hand in it all. “Palo Alto” is like 80’s soul and pop mixed with a Tv On The Radio indie vibe. Featured track from the movie, the song does a great job not only as an emotional homage to the film, but encapsulating the soulpop of our youth, in cleverly crafted modernity.
