Icona Pop brings so much bass I’d do anything to see them perform at venue’s in NYC that are known to have killer sound. Because they master the mixing board. They bring ethereal beats and synth passed through phase shifters while their fair haired female singer has the power of Florence and The Machine, but it’s softer yet just as powerful (if that’s even possible) The drum machines! OH! The drum machines! They should get endorsed by Korg, because they use the new Koas pad, and an Electribe series. Lastly the 4/4 kick patterns with that belly-dropping dub-step type bass WILL have you moving.
Notables: Extremely catchy tunes mixed well with ambient breakdowns of their set, yes, they’re not afraid to go experimental in Sweden!
